The National Association for Stock Car Automobile Racing (NASCAR) is the premier sanctioning body for stock car racing in the world. The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is the pinnacle of stock car racing, with the world's top drivers competing in 36 races from coast-to-coast. The Sprint Cup Series season comprises two parts: a 26-race regular season and a 10-race post-season, called the Chase for the Sprint Cup. Millions of fans attend and watch NASCAR events each season, with broadcasts available in more than 150 countries and in 20 languages.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season begins in February with the biggest event of the year, the Daytona 500 in Daytona, Fla. and wraps up in November at Homestead-Miami Speedway, also in the Sunshine State. In between, the series visits 23 tracks in 20 states. Races take place on superspeedways, short tracks and road courses, testing the driver’s skill and versatility. In addition, NASCAR sanctions the Nationwide Series and Camping World Truck Series, which is comprised of up-and-coming drivers and veterans alike.
